Michael King Designs was the tile maker of choice for such architectural restoration projects as the Los Angeles Union Train Station, the Biltmore Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona, and several Spanish Revival and Art Deco buildings around the United States. Michael King Designs has executed numerous commercial installations; including the Chicago House of Blues and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. In 2008 Michael King Designs completed one of its largest projects to date, The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks, California. The project involved more than 14,000 hand-painted tiles and received the first place award for a commercial tile installation from the Tile Contractors Association of America.
